OUR MISSION:

To establish Omicron Nu Nu as the go-to organization to effectively impact the lives of families in Round Rock and Williamson County by developing systems and partnership networks to mentor learners of all ages, offer substantial scholarship opportunities, provide connections to career advancements, and connect to volunteer services that bridge social mobility gaps.

A Distinguished Omega

Brother Dexter Caston was initiated into the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. in Fall 2004 through the Nu Phi Chapter in Houston, Texas. Immediately upon joining, he became a Life Member #5666 and District Life Member #318.

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Brother Caston is a distinguished military graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He furthered his education with a Master’s in Public Administration from Webster University and a Master’s in Strategic Studies from the Army War College.

A Dedicated Soldier and Servant

With over 34 years of dedicated service, COL Caston held various key positions in the U.S. Army across the globe. In 2020, he moved to Austin, TX to serve as the Deputy Chief of Staff-FWD-Austin at the U.S. Army Futures Command, Futures & Concepts Center. He retired from the Army in June 2024.

Brother Caston is an active member of the ONN Chapter, serving as a charter member and holding leadership roles in various committees, including:

  • Bylaws Committee Chair

  • Fatherhood Committee Chair

  • Social Action Committee

  • Talent Hunt Committee

  • Achievement Week Committee

  • The WILCO Omega Foundation

 

A Family Man

 

Brother Caston is married to the former Demetria George and is the proud father of three children: Darian (28), Tia (26), and Dylan (13).

Brother Caston remains committed to the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., always highlighting the organization's community impact and inspiring future generations.
